Default Keeping power steering tight

I have a 68 with a 289. My problem is, my power steering pump keeps backing off and the belt squeals. This is really annoying. The adjustment bolt was broken off, so I put a grade 8 bolt through it and really tourqued it down. I know this has to be as much pressure as the original, if not more. It still keeps backing off though. Anybody got any suggestions for me??
