Awesome. That's perfect and exactly what I need. Now that I saw that kit, I can see that my shifter has completely lost those bushings. Thanks for the help.

i have got the same prob on my automatic has anyone done one on a 69 mach 1 i am going to tear in to it here this weakend or next

I think it was Dodgestang who did a write-up on the fix for the automaics a few years back. Try contacting him. Sorry I didn't keep the write-up and put it in the FAQ. That was before I started the FAQ.
