Default Exhaust system ?

I ordered dual exhaust system from Mustangs Unlimited. The mufflers have no in/ out markings on them but one end comes out the center and one end comes out over by the side. Which side do I point forward/ backward?
Also, I read 'some welding required for best fitment' but aren't 2" clamps good enough at each union?
And finally, where are the pipes supposed to terminate?...on either side of the fuel tank... mine are a about a foot shy of the rear bumper.

Any help much appreciated!

The inlet pipe is the one that is off center, and the exit pipe is the one in the middle of the muffler. Yes, the clamps will work, but welding the pipes is better. You will need to get an extension pipe to exit from under the bumper at the rear and either clamp it or weld it. Some nice chrome tips will look better than the pipe out the rear. A lot of guys prefer the turn downs.
