After a hard run today I found a nut and piece of stud in the driveway. After looking at this,, it was still hot, I found out it was a torque converter stud and nut busted off. Its a TCI 2500 converter in a C4 trany.
Can this be replaced, it looks like it was just tack welded to the converter.

What causes a stud to break, I dont want to buy another converter and have this break again!
