Hey, I'm swapping a 351 stroked to 408 into my 67 coupe, but I'm going with a high rise edelbrock intake. I'm going to need a 3" cowl induction hood to accomodate this, but I can't find one for under $340. Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper, or should I just fork out the cash?
Thats about what glass hoods run for pin on types. I bought a 4" cowl from glasstek last year, nice hood and was around $300, but it wasnt for a mustang. They dont have a cowl hood, just a stock flat one. VFN does sell a pin on style hood for $290 and a bolt on for $450, check them out at http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm
I know they arent a vendor, but they do have the hood.
