That price is only for the bracket. You have to buy the rest of the stuff.

Tru that, the other stuff must still be purchased. but i can get rotors and calipers for about a hundred bux. and the brake lines cant be more than say 20. So bringing the total rougly 240 bucks? cant beat that.

You are forgetting about the dual master cylinder, tie rod ends, pads and proportioning valve. Add it all up, and I doubt you can beat Dennis's price.

already have the dual mc as my car is a 68 and they recomend using the stock dual MC. Tie rod ends will not need to be replaced because it uses the existing drum spindle as a mounting points. Pads wont be a problem as i have s-10 parts galore and i think they say to use the existing dist. block and only to add a prop valve if switching to discs all the way around.

What would you use for rotors? Stock 68 from Napa? We are in the same boat remember?

It appears as if 68 or 69 rotors will work and you could pick those up from NAPA or anywhwere. I've been lookin on Rockauto.com and they have some pretty good deals. Id like to talk to someone who has done this conversion before i shell out the clams.

I hear ya. It is one of those unprovens. My understanding is that the dual master cylinder on the 68 drum/drum cars won't work, and you will need the new proportioning valve. If that is untrue, then a lot of guys have spent a lot of money for nothing.
