Default convertible top question

The top (frame) on my '66 sags right above both doors when I try and put it up. It's almost like the motor doesn't have enough strength to unfold the frame fully. Is this caused from a bad motor? Can anyone help me find instructions on replacing the motor, etc.? Thanks!

Default RE: convertible top question

I have a 66 convertible also. I adjusted my power top according to the original Ford 66 Shop manual and it now works just fine. The manual has alot of info in regard to the motor and troubleshooting. Hope this helps......Ed
