A simple question: Has anyone used one of the 7/8" dropped K&N air cleaner bases to reduce the overall height of the air cleaner assembly (for hood clearance)? My concern is does this air cleaner base clear all the hardwear/pieces of a Holley 650 double pumper with electric choke. Summit has one for $19.95, but thought I'd try to get answers before ordering it.
