Default Turn signal cam

Hey guys, so I ventured into the steering wheel today to try to fix the problem of the loose turn signal lever. It always falls down into the left turn signal on position and sometimes the left turn signal will turn on without me doing so. So I pulled off the steering wheel and tried to see how to tighten it, and I didn't see any screws or anything holding it on. All I saw were 2 soldered wires (probably one for each turn signal). I didn't want to undo the solders and do something I didn't know how to do, so I decided to ask you guys first...is that what I need to do? Pull off those soldered wires and tighten something under there or what?

Craig...IIRC that turn signal and emergency assembly is one whole piece. I think you will have to remove the 3 screws holding the assembly on then disconnect the wiring at the other end of the steering column then pull the wiring and assembly off. Perhap then you can tell what the prob is...kinda hard to see whats going on from the turn signal lever hole...
