Default Thinking about installing a windage tray.....

I'm going to the builder tomorrow to drop off some parts and pay him for the work done so far to my engine. He got the block back a few days ago all done. Bored .30 over which is great, it was never touched from 1968. I'm thinking about picking up a windage tray for the bottom end.

What's everyone's thoughts about a windage tray?

keep the crank from pulling a vaccum on the oil making the crank churn it slowing it down reducing power

While your at it you might ask him what he'd charge to knife edge the crank, before balancing it. Would go hand in hand with the tray.
Couldn't remember what all you are doing to your engine.

Have fun!
