right now i have a bone stock 289 C code in my 67 (original motor i rebuilt it) but i wanted to get some heads prefeereable some heads off of a newer vegicle that will fit without modifacation i can deal with pushrods but i have been told e7tes (i think thats it) or gt40p heads will work but i dunno what i want i just want something cheap to hold me over for a few yrs until i am out of school and make money to afford really nice heads oh ya and i don't want to have a super high copmpression i like what i have now 9.3:1 i believe

gt40's, explorers in the junkyard, e7 head bone stock is junk. The gt40P's will require a mac shorty header as the spark plug is in a revised location

what is the casting number on the gt 40 heads not the gt40p

F1ZE-AA and F3ZE-AA, BA, CA, F4ZE-6049-CA, DA

also some say GT by the left and right lower headbolts
