Take your starter off and get the block casting number. Take a valve cover off and see if there are any stampings in the valley, then look at the intake manifold behind the carb and see if you can see a firing order.

not very many came with 351w. send us pics. actually tell us your firing order.
Here is a pic of the motor, it's pretty dirty.

motor pic
It sure is...roll up your sleeves. That heater circuit looks funny too.
A 351W intake manifold is wider than a 302, it should measure about 11" at its widest.

with the width of the carb compared to the intake, it almost looks like a 302, but im not super familiar with the edelbrock.....you could spend $100 on degreaser, rattle can paint and some wire loom and make it look something more like this....(just trying to put some of my pic to use) http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...500/engine.jpg

Nice pic Jbradley500.
I have to get all the wiring taken care of. the ignition switch isnt working, thats why i have those two wires running on the left (passanger side)

the 351 W will have 2 bosses on the block, one on either side of the distributor that the 302s do not have. Im looking to see if I can find a picture to explain my point...
EDIT: here we go, God bless ebay. notice the boss that goes up the drivers side along the distributor hole, and the one in the same place on passenger side

Here are a few more things to help identify it as a 351W.

Valve cover is held in place by 6 bolts.

Spark plug socket is 13/16 inch size.

Distributor gear is 1 1/4 inch diameter.

Radiator hose connects to water neck on the front of the intake manifold.
