RICED OUT CAR:

MUSCLE CAR

not even close. i'm in the age range of the "ricers" and cannot figure out for the life of me, what on earth posesses them to do these things to their cars. my GF said it was cause girls like it (yet she doesn't) and when i smoked one civic with my 89 4 banger, she was flirting with me at the next light. they're cool till they get smoked and than the chick realizes, this dude has a real car, what the hell am i doing. thank god i don't need a car to get a chick tho.
the only thing i agree with them on is this: it's your car, do as you wish. i have seen some "ricers" who chill at classic car shows, with NO attitude, and drool over the classics and muscle cars.
im not trying 2 argue w\ anybody about "ricers" its the people that **** me off not the CARS. i could build a 500 horse integra if a had $$$$$$$. I work for my dad at a bodyshop and ill be the first one 2 say that the euro cars are the best built most reliable cars out there. good for the owner of one. a pain in the *** 2 work on!!! I drove an audi tt and it was nice but give me my mustang.
Just to poke some fun at myself regarding badging:
My 67 coupe was originally a 6 cylinder (which can be identified by my 4 bolt patterned wheels), has a 289 badge (obviously not original, but the previous owner stuck it on), and a 302 under the hood (which I wasn't even available in 67). Go figure!
The best part? From what I've researched, the bone stock 302 only produces about 200hp at the engine and no guess as to rear wheel hp.
All of this has had zero impact on my enjoyment of cruising around town as a semi-daily driver. In fact, I'll wave to just about anybody smiling at me...

he's prolly another dyno racer.
actually, i take that back i haven't seen a dyno sheet, time slip, nothing more than someone saying that even a 300hp import won't beat them. tell ya what bro, i know 2 civics that aren't riced out that would probably take a nice sized dump on your "400"hp car.

countless times i have driven the backroads home have i encountered people coming at me in the other lane with their brights on, thats what upsets me the most, i am considerate enough to turn off my brights when i see their headlights, they should be the same. same with the swerving and talkin Sh*t. its all attitude i hate.

There is a new 1/4 mile being built 10 minutes from my house...THANK GOD. My friends CRX cut a 11.9 last month and we are bringing the integra to the track within the next 2 weeks hopefully. I am expecting a 12.8ish run. Still not "fast" by any means but we are getting there with them. heh

the dyno sheets are at my dads bodyshop and if i ever see those 2 civics ill give them a good beatdown. they can try to spray their way past me but when they run out of nitrous and their turbos break their nothing more than grociere getters!
