Inexpensive soundproofing = peel and seal (something like that). Found in Lowe's or Home Depot in the roofing section. Has foil with black sticky mastic material. Roll it out, cut it to shape, and stick it down. Use a wooden or plastic roller to smooth it out and conform to surface. We used it on my son's stang and seems to reduce the noise level significantly....

I did my whole car and it makes a huge difference, to do the whole car including the roof I used aprroximately 150 sqft. It is cheaper to buy off of ebay than from there website. The stuff I used is suppose to be better than dynamate and its way cheaper, it cost me $300.00 to do my whole car.

The sound proofing that I listed above is not a mat, it is extremely sticky and if anything if there was a pin hole or even a small hole this stuff will seal it and not let water in.
