So how much body work have you done this far? Have you swapped out the quarters yet and if so how much and were did you get them from?
as of right now, i dont need quarters, maybe a lower quarter patch on my passenger side, but my quarters are solid.

I've got the little bit of rust on the lower quarters also, but I think I'm just going to go ahead with the full quarter skins.

Dont skimp out on the torque boxes, they should really help strengthen you chassis. If you have not done much fabricating, buy new ones, even if it sets you back some it will be worth it. Torque boxes, in my opinion, are not optional, especially since you are going to be running a v8

T-boxes triangulate/support the rocker to the frame rails. They are an excellent test to determine your car's 'straghtness. If you make these boxes at home you will lose that benefit (the same goes for those that take them apart to install them). Getting the manufactured torque boxes is how you can determine within a small margin of error that your car is straight in the front. They are a tight fit and sometimes require force (I use the weight of the car to my advantage) to get in but once it, they are in.

+1 on the manufactured TB's. They are relatively inexpensive, and not worth the cost/benefit of doing it yourself. You will spend hours to make one and it will prob. not be as structurally sound. The shape and bends are engineered to withstand the specific stresses they will undergo. They are available for about fifty-sixty bucks. What is 5-10 hours of your time worth?
