Need some advice. I have never really cared much about the stock mirrows I have. Has anyone have any idea if the sports mirrows from the 69-70 or the 71-73 Mach I's will work on a '65 coupe. Even though I have seen pictures of them on a '67 coupe and they really looked nice, I'm a little leary of buying them just as an experiment and having them not work.

I've always liked those mirrors too. I think you could make it work but you w would have to reshape the base of the mirror where it mounts to the door. The angle of mounting and the curveture of the door sheet metal where it mounts would be different between the 2 different years. I think it could be done.
