Guys Guys Guys!!! the only engine that had different heads was the HiPo....I had one remember? the only differenace was the HiPo heads had screw in studs and cuped springs. The A code and C code heads were IDENTICAL the differance in compression was in the pistons. The K code had flat top, which gave it 10.5 to one. The A code a small dish which gave it 10.0 to one and the C code had a bigger dish which gave it 9.3 to one....
Ant hoot, I sold my motor yesterday for 400.00 bucks but need a rebuild. sold the tranny with it as well...

Well, if anyone is looking for a 1970 302 that was rebuilt about 5 years ago with a C4 tranny that has a shift kit, mine is for sale.. Pickup only. It will be out of the car in the next few weeks.

But if was a GT it had to be and A code or K code. Until 68 and then all bets are off!
No, a 67 GT can have a C code engine

Was looking to get $1000 for the engine and tranny just the way you see it. Minus the carb and pulleys. A setup very close to this sold on ebay for $1900..
