+1 on the gears....my 3.55's unleashed my engine.

If you go over to the 5.0 forum there is a link somewhere to a site that talks about "first mods". One of the best bangs for the buck mentioned there was gears. They can make an otherwise stock 5-liter feel like you've gained major hp.

and they are fairly affordable

NITROUS
nitrous is way overrated unless you have the suspension mods and tire size to put that instantaneous hp increase to the ground (not to mention you would need appropriate engine mods ahead of time too to handle the juice!)

i thought about nos for a while, but when you watch the fast and furious and you see them hit the noz, and they go to like max 130, SO many cars can do that with out noss, like Mojoe said, inless you have enough equippment and mods to handel it, its not worth it.

In the F&F movie, they went from 140 to 160 when they hit the juice.

Absolutely. The guys who street race are nuts in the first place, but to go that fast on the street is just plain dumb. I can't imagine being in a Honda Civic going that fast.
