well, sorry for the assumption there Sean, i stand corrected. But if you truly are a 5 time classic stang owner then you should be used to the power of a classic american muscle car, and if it is truly all that wicked enough to scare the blank out of you, i would think you would have atleast have done enough research on the car to know what it has done to it, and why would you want to upgrade the performance even further if you cant get used to it now? And also you probably wouldnt be saying things like i think it has a high performance air cleaner?

Your talkin to the wrong crowd with cold air and nitrous there paco, and for the kid who said that the car gets the you know what scared out of him, how bout a brake upgrade?, Maybe a five-point racing harness. When your young all you think about is how fast something will go. it sounds like he needs to get rid of his classic stang and go pick up a honda civic and rice the hell out of it.
Dude, for one thing we've been talking about nitrous for like the last 10 posts so it has TOTAL Relevance here because its a power adder...deerrrr. Secondly, while there isn't any relevant applications for a cold air system on a classic mustang, paco isn't far off in suggesting the air cleaner area as a power adder. LOTS of people add K&N filters or even the K&N air cleaner top that has built in filters. While it's not a huge hp gain, it does help with airflow which can assist other power adders like a higher flow carb.

True, nitrous has been discussed in the past 10 posts, but it has basically been shot down every time for the simple fact that the original post was about a single most effective performance mod, Nitrous would have a few sprays on a worn out orig. small block before it puked more than a college kid on a saturday night. ANd cold air intake on a 40 year old car? Not on my stang. I personally think the best bang for the buck would be slapping in a pertronix.

i thought about nos for a while, but when you watch the fast and furious and you see them hit the noz, and they go to like max 130, SO many cars can do that with out noss, like Mojoe said, inless you have enough equippment and mods to handel it, its not worth it.
In the F&F movie, they went from 140 to 160 when they hit the juice.
Uh.... Glen...., why do you know that off the top of your head??? [&:][&:][&:]

Me think'in that Glen is a closet Ricer!!! [sm=noooo.gif][sm=noooo.gif][sm=noooo.gif]

my "original small block" isn't pukin **** and it breathes juice just fine. The point was you shouldn't shew off power adder suggestions. I did agree that cold air isn't feasible on the older mustangs, but he could have meant something along the lines of a K&N filter upgrade.
