Default 68 Mustang Floorpan Repair

I am in the process of trying to fix up (it will be a daily driver not a matching #'s resto) a 68 Mustang Coupe. While tearing out the interior, I discovered significant rust in the floor pan on the driver's side front (slightly obstructed view of the ground after grinding off the rust[sm=smiley6.gif]) and a small spot rusted all the way through in the back. I plan on replacing the driver's side of the floorpan with a full panel, but am open to using two seperate pieces. It seems that all the on-line suppliers list the full panel as 19 gauge, if they provide the thickness at all. 19 gauge seems kinda' thin to me. Is this the standard thickness for a floor pan in a Mustang? Are the seperate panels (front and rear) any thicker than 19 gauge? Any and all advice from those who have already traveled this route is greatly appreciated.
