I would suggest not removing the doors from the car. If you don't know how to get the door handle and the window handle off, aligning the door could be a real problem.
You either have screws holding the door handle and window handle or clips. If you have clips, go to your local parts store and show the guy/gal what you want to do. They will show you the tools you need. There is the door handle clip tool, and the door panel clip tool. Get both. Be very careful removing the door panel. The clips will rip out of the pressboard backing very easily. Pay attention to what you are doing and take your time.
Open the door all the way. Tape off that whole side of the car, including the front fender, and everything on the door you don't want painted. If the paint on the portion of the door isn't flaking off, lay down a light primer coat and then lay down the color coats. Make sure to keep a good amount of overlap (like 50%) on your strokes, because you can't rub it out. so the paint needs to be wet everywhere you spray.
Once the paint has dried 24 hours go ahead and put it all back together. Make sure the door panel clips are sitting in the hole before tapping them in place, or you'll break the fiberboard and possibly rip the vinyl.
Good luck,

From the picture, looks like he just wants to paint the interior, not the interior of the door(confusing subject).
Id suggest not taking the door off like Scott said. I have both of my doors off now and its not gonna be fun realigning them. Just buy a puller and pry up on the panel and it will slowly come off and then lay a coat of paint on her.
