my belt just recently started squealing after i installed a new powermaster one wire alternator. it sounds like its coming from my power steering but i dont know it is load as i accelerate but if i accelerate fast then let off a bit and go again it dies down idk wat it is

Loud squeel when you goose it or is it a constant loud squeel or is it a squeek?

If an actual squeel belt needs to be tightened--If squeek either rough up the belt or buy some belt dressing.

 

get a bar of soap and rub it on your belts

 

You just didn't get the belt tight enough when you installed the new alternator. Sometimes belt dressing will stop it temporarily, but will eventually come back. Just tighten the belt.
