I will go with a hire car later on this fall and then with the stang in 2007 that is the plan

were options on the 65, as were reverse lights

Good to hear you are moving forward. Just make sure that when the Mustang hits the track you beat a 10:08. Otherwise, lie like your name is Bill Clinton

If you end up having to have the flashers, pick up a schematic for the '66. You'll see that all Ford did was add a short sub harness between the male and female plug at the turn signal harness, to tap off of. This allowed them to add a switch and a flasher relay in parallel. It's really easy. The other benefit is you could hide all the wiring and switch, and keep it there in case you have a roadside emergency.
