turn downs vs. tail pipes

I run turn downs on my '71. That's purely for the added horsepower. I don't have any fume problems, either. Of course, this is a toy and not a DD (gets kinda cold in the winter without a heater).
Comfy DD's get exhaust out to the valance.

I tend to avoid dirt streets.
I do like to find short convertibles in my '65 F250...the exhaust exits horizontal in front of the rear wheels...from a 13:1 CR engine.
(just haven't got around to putting tips on it yet to divert the flow)

Dont forget the dust it creates. Plus it really makes people behind you angry because you sling dust all over them as well.
