Default I got i project for tomorrow.

Tomorrow i have to fix the front and back gaskets on my intake manifold. I was never told not to use them. The manifold is leaking. Also I have got all of the brake lines hooked up so i will bleed too.

Tyler its live and learn bro.. Have made plenty of mistakes while workin on my stuff, just dont make the same one twice. Try to learn from everyone elses mistakes too while learning the correct way to do things. you dont want to become a "Shadetree" type now do ya? If you would like to trade projects for tomorrow, come on up so you can pull my engine and trans while I do your intake.. The best part is the spiders are all too cold to move now!! lol

Atom you got a car that an idiot owned previously.. I have several like that. Just spent the last 4 hours bumpin the dent out of the Cougars pass side fender. it was 2" deep and filled with bondo, now its 1/8" deep and needs finish work once my arm isnt so damn tired.. lol. previous owners who dont know how to do things properly, or "shadetree mechanics" that halfazz and idiot engineer stuff are also pretty bad to follow.

i got a few of those areas, i dont know anything about my cars life before it moved to oklahoma. the owner at the time blew the 302 and got a new engine. drove it, sold it. next was a lady. drove it, sold it to me after she got an 05 convert. unless the mechanic who put the engine in didnt put the gasket r the intake was removed at one point and put back on without gaskets

Why is it that Fel-Pro or Mr. Gasket any other gasket maker can't make a decent gasket for the intakes? Especially ones that will go around the corners.

My PO of my car glued the shock adsorber nut that connect the connecting plate to the tower so trying to fit my export brace, one is now stuck and needs to be cut off worst i had to drive 5 miles to my garage, with 2.5 bolt @20mph!! Plus the export brace fit like a piece of **** so will need some gentle persuation!!!
