I am in the process of rebuilding a 1967 Mustang. Engine is a 289 2V. Question concerns repainting the Power Steering Pump - Does the tag on the back of the pump get painted? Or is it suppossed to be plain metal? It is painted now - but the paint is flaking off. Area under the tag is painted as well - back of tag is not. Any quidance would be appreciated
