I personally would start with the converter, something that will actually stall up to a true 3-3.5k

Of course that cost more money that simply slapping another intake on though

Another other option is to learn to foot brake it more when you want to make squeally noises.[8D]

When deciding on what stall you need, you don't just arbitrarily come out with a number, and you don't just slap on a $99.00 special and expect results. You need a custom high stall converter. I mean the things that add up when building a Custom High Stall Torque Converter, like displacement, cam, horse power, torque--as well as the car or truck it's in--transmission, point of shift (RPM), application (drag, street, street and strip), rear end ratio, tire size, and over all weight. This information is used to tailor your custom torque converter for maximum torque multiplication and efficiency.
