Default RE: LITTLE PROBLEM...

Is it an automatic? If so it may be the dashpot is set a little too high. It is designed to keep the throttle from slamming closed on automatic trasnsmission engines. It will be a small round device on the front left (driver's) side of the carburetor. The throttle lever contacts it at idle. There should be a locknut on the front side of it, loosen that and turn the dashpot in slightly, maybe 1/2 turn and retighten the lock nut. Try it and see if it helps, but not so far the engine "stumbles" when you tap the gas and let off it quickly.
