I just purcahsed a new Duralast water pump and it spins (by hand) allot stiffer than the old one I took off. Is this common because it's new? I don't want to go through all the work to put it on and have the belt slip cause it's to stiff. [:@]Or should I take it back and try a new one? Thanks

 

put it on you won't have any problems its just new seals
