Your kidding right?!? Most stock small blocks will wind easy 5000+ rpms. Worst that will happen is around 5500 or so the valves will begin to float because the valve springs are too weak to slam the valve shut fast enough and the motor will loose power. Unless its got about 200,000 miles with poor maintainence you won't hurt it.

Only good on tires that are going to be replaced. Not so good on new tires....

yeah the motor is in perfect condition..lol...ive been driving Celica's and such small jap cars since the past 4 years...so lol....im not used to such "noise" per say....ill give it a whirl!

They still make linelock systems. Check Hurst for one.
