My friends 4.0L ranger can do it!, just powerbrake, Foot held fully on brake, and ease in on the gas. Thats auto of course, so in a 5 speed, thror your right foot on the gas and the brake( sideways) brake full down, and RMP at 4k, then drop the clutch with your left foot. Heres a vid of him powerbraking( brakestand) in a Tbird 5 speed( last clip is the powerbrake). Also, i wanted to make him feel queer so i put that music on his vid when i made it for him And with the ranger we went through 3 pairs of 50k mile michilens and only 1 set of brake pads with 20k mi.road use. ANd the brakes are still good!-Jon

Does anyone else think its fun to go get some cheap 20$ tires, then have a buddy mount them, just so you can burn them off?? -Jon

homemade(manual) linelocks?? Throw a T fitting on the rear brake line that comes off of the brake pump. The T fitting closes off any to go to rear, so u can stand on the brakes and only use fronts, then once you get home from burning out, just go loosen it back up so you have full rears( kinda like a proportioning valve) -Jon

Ok, First things first. holding the brake and trying to burn out with a stick shift, isn't going to happen. If you have a stick shift, just pop the clutch and floor it. If you have an automatic you can floor it, and/or hold the brake and gas it. Secondly, your not going to pop a drum.... im guessing your talking about your brake drum.

Also, heres a VID of my c4/302 stang doing it

http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j2...rrent=FBBO.flv

Just Hold the brake, and ease in/smash the gas and WOOT, then i shifted for second and let of the brake, i could have just wounder her up in second more though. Also... That was on fesh laid concrete with ribs... horrible in stress. If your going to burnout do it on asphaut, its much smoother. (hence, Diff is open, 1 tire spun, on asphault it still does 2 ) -Jon
