Heres my 66 with 4speed power braking it can be done. If you roll in reverse and nail it you risk blowing your rear end.

Line locks are amazing i just finshed installing on a 5.0L and its great. helps out ur brakes too!

well i had a 97 BMW 328i 5 spd turbo. Ill tell u this. Dont hold a redline or past. my fan clutch blew through my hood. just my experiences

eh!!1 whats the redline on a stok 302...the tacho doesnt have a redline like our mordern cars and im scared to take it beyond 3500

that 302 should shoot past 5000 no problem. My 289's redline is 4400 stock.

Well, a couple of things factor in, it was open headers and only about half throttle till the end and I don't know how good the camera recorded the sound. If I had mashed it to the floor I wouldn't be able to hold it back!
