steering question

ok im going to buy a disc brake kit from discbrakeswap.com and he says that i have to specify if it is a 6 or 8 steering gear. what does he mean by this?

Better to ask him but he most likely means 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder car. What kit are you looking at?

its a granada brake swap kit. the thing is that my car is a v8 but it started live as a i6 so im not sure. everything was changed over to 5-lug so i assume everything was done right

If it is 5 lug you need to get the V8 kit. what year is it?

ya it is...i talked to he guy and we figured out that it had the 11/16" diameter outer tie rods so it has the v8 steering...sounds like the preson who had the car before me did everything right.

one other question
has anyone delt with discbrakeswap.com and how was everything that you ordered?
