This is what I have. Nice package with disc brakes and Detroit Tru-Trac. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks Mike. Saved to fave's! It's got a nice sized price tag, but I get what I pay for.
If you go thur there you will also find the brake kits to go with it I am figureing on about $2000 total for mine

That seems about right. Cannonball's ebay one is about 2K shipped.

Actually, I have a question, Cannonball. When he says brake kit, he means discs, calipers and pads?

+1. The 8" is a stout rear. As are the 8.8" and the 9". The 9" robs a bit more power than the other two. The 8.8" is the most efficient, but I kinda like the removable carries, myself. Gear swaps are so much easier.

Yes, new and complete. They are actually aFord Explorer disc kit from Currie, but Quick Performance sells them. The axles are 31 spline Moser. Very nice.
