Get the factory looking pack on the steering column.
A dash pod was stock on Shelbys
A rally pack which is the tach mounted on the column (with a clock too) is very small and there are VERY few aftermarket tachs that even come close to the tiny size.

With all that said....big old hose clamp is usually enough to hold a tach to the steering column and call it done

If you look reallllllly close...you can see my old 3 inch sunpro 8k tach that I wired up to get me through till I got the new cluster...and its bigger than a rally pack tach.

I like them there too but I just wish there was something better and cleaner than a hose clamp to attach them with.

I guess you could have it anodized and class it up some. Or just Redneck install it and use bailing wire!

You could always make your own clamp. Small hinge, bolt, paint, nice little project.
