viper makes good alarms. the one i have has the built in killswitch and the remote that alerts you if someone is messin with it. lojack is a good idea as well.but honestly, there is really nothing you can do to be 100% secure.there is always a risk. if someone really really wants your car and they know what they are doing, they are going to get it. and by the way, you can steal almost anything with a slimjim and atow truck

ORIGINAL: Galactusz

ORIGINAL: MustangPammie

Y'all are very welcome. I can't take credit for finding the original link, though. I found on a now defunct Mustang board (trademark issues).

I love it as it's almost hidden. Most people will never notice it but I feel a little bit more secure knowing they can break in but will still never be able to shift it out of park.

(Installation was easy with the right allen wrench)
Thanks again Pammie, I ordered the T-Lock today!

Ok, this is what my ride will have as anti-theft devices.

1. T-Lock
2. Hood locks
3. Kill switch
4. Alarm
5. The Club
6. Max Car Cover with lock
7. Garage
8. 357 Magnum & 9mm Glock, all with hollow points

...and I'm also considering a Denver-type boot to secure the wheel, so that might be number 9 on the anti-theft devices.

Man, is that overkill or what?

If they do manage to steal my car, I'll even give them a tip for their great efforts.

Mmm, I'm trying to come up with anti-theft device number 10, just to round up the numbers.

I know a guy who rigged a battery to his rims tosend the message to wanderingmuttsthat his wheelsare not a sutiable location for stretching the leg muscles so to speak...maybe you could rig the door handles?

aussie in the usa people are sue happy you do that some theft gets hurt you get sued. when i did repole work for a few months we had a normal looking pickup truck. it had the two crawl looking things that fliped down out of the bed we could pick up the car in under 30 sec. honestly best thing to do is locked in a garage and have great insurance if they want it bad enough its gone
