Default security

Guys I have a question that I need help with. I bought my 67 mustang and now it's down here with me at school. I live on campus and the parking lot is really close to me. I have a Clifford alram system that pages me if people get to close or the alarm goes off. But, being that I go to the University of San Diego, I'm close to TJ and get worried. Is there something I can do that one cost me a ton of money to protect my car from being hot-wired or anything? Pull a piece out of the engine when I walk away? Add a kill-switch? Anything? Thanks a lot guys for all the input

Pull the distributor to coil plug wire. Bad guys will have little luck getting it started without that.

yea whenever I park my car somewhere and I don't feel at ease, I pull the coil to distributor wire off and take it with me and pray that if they do try to steal it that they don't have a spare with them. If I were you I would pull that wire off and the rotor and take them with you.

OOOOO i have god info, i was at frys just 2 days ago lookjing at alarm systems, i only wanted something with a remote that wared me that my alarm was going off, well they had one that killed the ignition and the only way to start it back up once more is with the hand held remote

it was $250 for remote lock/unlock, that alarm with ignitioin kill and remote, and for extra remote start, which would be nice but we cant relly use that

The bad thing though, if people cant steal it, they'll usually get frusterated and vandalize it.
