ive heard of adapters but it makes the wheels sit a little further out so you would have to get some with a little bigger offset...i would check e-bay, i think i saw some on there before

ya i know but its a cheaper alternative. i was looking into getting a 6-cyl and when i was doing my reasearch i ran across them but i opted for the v8 haha

 

I gotta 66 I6 coupe from Cali a couple years ago and was wondering about the same conversion,,I found the adapters somewhere on the net after goggling like mad and then backed off after a couple wheel manufacturing companies said they won't honor warranty or liabilty stuff

 

I've heard jeep wheels work, not sure though
