how can i get the rust off of my chrome rims? is there any thing to do except rechroming them? there not badly rusted.

If it is just surface rust, you can get an S.O.S pad wet and scrub it down, then rinse with cold water.

I have had good luck with CLR on rusty chrome. Doesn't fixem, but cleans the nicely.

you could also try a very fine steel wool it works great

A product called Never Dull works good too.

sos pad/steel wool works to remove the rust if you want a good shine never dull or mothers mag and alum polish
