The retortek is what you see, nothing else. It made to replace the carb using the existing fule lines. The mass flow still has to use the fule rails and thus not looking like the original setup. The only wire I can remember from the artical is a mulit-conductor for the "carb" and a water temp sensor and a O2 sensor. The computer has all the rest, fuel pump, spark, and pump. The map and the pressure sensors and the injectors are built right into the "carb". They are promising alot with this and as soon as I find out more I'll let you guys know...

I went with a carb set up. More horsepower & no computor to deal with. It is also period correct for you year. If that really matters to you?

fuel injection will be fine with that its just that efi can only handle so much power
Um, no.

If the car will be driven on the street my vote goes to FI. Plus, it will make it more of a restomod than a carb would.

347 rather than a 331 carbed FTW
im rated at 427@6000 rpm, 405lb/ft@4500rpm, 333lb/ft@2000rpm

if your going to keep the car in its era stay with a carb. i think EFI dates the car, kinda like tinting the windows ya know

EFI is better on a day in day out basis because of it's ability to adjust to the environment - it is measureing the air flow and you are driving an air compressor, how could a carb be better unless the environment is static. I would use this same argument, as mas-flo does, that they are better than a speed density system......... Not only that but I think the mas-flo looks way sweet! That said, it is going to cost you around $3,600 for the setup and the fuel delivery system, pricey indeed

carb is cheaper efi cost more but is better stays tuned no screw driver to tune it and efi will help get even fuel to all cylinders

Only if you go for a multi-port system (MPFI)
