carb is cheaper efi cost more but is better stays tuned no screw driver to tune it and efi will help get even fuel to all cylinders
I haven't used a screwdriver on my Motorcraft 2100 in about 3 years. So, that's a dead argument. And no, I don't have a Holley.

The 2100 seems to be built to last forever and I would have to rate this as maybe the best carb everproduced (for its purpose). In order to mantain a vintage look in the enging bay, I will probly use a carb, this will help keep the cost down. As far as the engine, seems like a 331 (well balanced) will be my pick this time, however the next buildI willplan to use a FI.

You can't go wrong with a good old Autolite 4100 (4bbl version of the 2100 if you didn't know). It'll go head to head with a Holley and the choke system blows away a Carter AFB/Edelbrock.Toecho whatGlen said, once it's adjusted you won't have to fiddle around with it for a good long time. Yea, you may take a little **** from those who don't know about Autolites, but that's OK. Fuel injection is great butit's pricy and when it comes to a classic, I'd prefer to spend the moneyon something else, like a vacation.
