Cool - didn't know they already had thought of it. GW stuff is so nice that it doesn't surprise me.

Yeah, good stuff.

Unfortunately for those wishing to do the Shelby drop, I just measured the jig and Global West drops the upper arm 1.75".

I just ordered the metal template for the Shelby drop. That will lower car about 1/2", with stock tires could I lower it about another 1/2" with a lower spring and do OK with the tires not rubbing?

I removed the power steering pump from the car when I was changing the water pump, I'm waiting on the link that by-passes the piston now.

Does anyone have any knowledge of removing power steering from their Mustang. Eventually I want to install rack and pinion.

FWIW, my Global West suspension also came with a steel template similar to that above. It really mad it kind of foolproof. I'm pretty sure I still have it, so if somebody in the L.A. area ever wants to borrow it, shoot me a message. Heck, I guess I could probably mail it somewhere as well. I'll double check the measurements to make sure they use the same geometry, but I'm pretty sure it is.
I like my Global-West!! NO understeer...at-all!!

Well, for better or worse, it's been done. Got the upper arms de-mounted and the hole drilled and the arms back on and tightened down.
The springs have been re-mounted, just waiting to install the shocks and the wheels/tires to check it all out leter this week.

OK we drop the upper mount, should the old holes be covered or supported in any way?

This drop should work with standard coils am I right, I don't know if I want a harder ride than stock, but I do want better cornering.

I was thinking about that the other day. A couple rubber grommets would do well I should think...
