Default AOD Block Plate question

For those of you that did the AOD swap did you use your stock C4 block plate or by the one from Ron Morris or another vendor?

just get the one from the donor car and for the flexplate u need a 28 balance flexplate so pick up one from the parts store for a 71-73 351 car with the fmx tranny it will have the correct toooth count 164 and should be compatible with the aods torque converter

The pan fill (164T) will work but the access cover bolt patern is different.
Whenever I buy a tranny I try to get the plate that came with it. Get one from the junk yard.

I used the same flex plate from theC6 and bolted the AOD right up. The engine was 351C but the bolt patterns forC4 and C6 to AOD are the same.
