sp springs between 67-70 work and buy new ones. now got that solved, what about the guage install is it fairly simple or is it a complicated? is it something my dad and i can do in a couple of hours?

what gauges are you installing after market or do what to use the stock ones. If stock its real easy just install V8 sending units and use the wiring that already there. but now that you may have to buy an engine wiring harness but they are not much. I just looked at my NPD catolog and yes the gauge feed harnass is different for V8 they have it for 21.95 you may want to get a shop manal too it will tell you how to do just about anything on it here is a link for NPD there are more vendors in the FAQ of this forum.

these are the gauges that i have and the guy i buoght them from had them installed in a 67 pony so i know they go somehow.

try going to the ameter web site and see if you can down load instrutions. Or some own else may be able to tell you more most of those gauges I haven't done but I'm sure its not hard to do. The ones I have installed its been along time and I can't remember how they go.

dont forget to change the brakes front disc are well worth the money. dont forget the rear end the 6 banger cars have a 7.5 which is kinda weak find a 8 inch atleast or a 9
