Default 64 - 70 Spindle Info:

I found this in the CJ Pony Parts 07" Catalog:

64-66 - 6 Cyl - All the same - Drum only, factory never offered Disc on 6 Cyl
64-66 - V8 - Drum and Disc the same
67 - 6 Cyl & V8 - Same - Drum & Disc the same, 67 used one spindle on all applications
68 - Drum and Disc different
68 - Drum same as 67 spindles
69 - Drum and Disc different
69 - Drum same as 67-68 - Disc same as 68
70 - Drum and Disc different

I thought it was a good little chart and would do well in the FAQ

I was told that early I6- 67s used the 66 I6 spindles. I have a 67 built in March, would this be early??

Good question, my guess is that early is the first 6 months of the years and late is the latter. However, not sure if they mean fiscal year!

Again, my only reference for this information is the CJ Pony catalog page 66.
