EZ, definitely send them more pictures. If a piece of fiberglass isbad enough, it should be replaced N/C. But waiting this long could cause problems.
When I went to pick up my fiberglass (250 miles from my home, but not the only thing I was picking up) I was lucky enough that the guy selling me the pieces had a whole trailer load to go through. He hand picked the best pieces. And I can tell you, manyof the other ones would not be usable. Probably just anemployee picking out your fiberglass and shipping whatever he picked up.

eZ, curious about something else...since you had the lid for 2 years, where was it sitting before you tried fitting it on the car? If it was stacked somewhere in the garage, it may have warped from the combination of sitting and heat overtime as well.
Let's get real: wherever you get any part, remember that they (the supplier) did not make it; they sold it to you because you wanted it. I've had parts problems with Texas Mustang, Nationa Parts Depot, California Mustang, Mustangs Unlimited, Mustang Parts House- even good old J. C. Whitney. In every instance, the supplier replaced the defective item. I've never had a problem with Mustangs Plus. In every instance, the time lag was with-in the prescribed period. In all cases, the item was replaced. It is obvious that this whole string is based on some one that doesn't understand business. That is, all these suppliers are in business, and that business is to make money.A satisfied customer is the best reference to make money - providing you follow their policy. Get used to it. Read the fine print.

How about another photo showing all the rear of the car with the deck lid in place (or as close as posisble). Fiberglass has to be fitted, looks like a belt sander may be in order.
sorry ive been gone...but to answer a lot of questions.
the problem with the trunk is that it sticks out to far at the corners and completely bows in toward the key hole. if i put a straight edge against my trunk you can see the the trunk is perfectly straight where as the deck lid is bowed in a horrible c shape. i got this deck lid in dec. of 2005. i contacted them a few months later when i installed the deck lid. the lid was still in the box at that time. if it has been sanded then i recieved a trunk lid that someone else had already returned. I gave MP the benefit of the doubt until i took the car to a body shop and they said "wow, where did you get this deck lid?" I understand that a lot of time has passed since i bought it. but you can see in my email that i asked if there was "anything" that they could do. they did not even offer a discount on a new lid.
So its not the fact that i "waited to years." I contacted within the time period of the fine print or whatever the hell you say and they blew it off. Basically I offered them a recourse before i shop somewhere else.

If you told them upfront two years ago, thats crap. They should have exchanged it. I hate it when someone makes excuses for their shortcommings. I wish they would just simply say," Sorry, we screwed up." Oh well live and learn, ive learned that it'snever just one company, Every company everyone listed so far I guarantee has some discrepencies against them. And also the same companys have customers so loyal they would never "shop around". Everyone will get screwed sometimeIt's your luck to be that "guy" that happend to that time".But everyone has there favorites. I say give them a another chance.

Grammer ****, I think yoursentence where you talk about being a grammer **** is a run-on. Just thought that was ironic.
