what i really need to find is a copy of the original land use deed granted to the area from the king of england it would actually superceed any thing like this james ogelthrope settled and colonixed the are that wouldbe the best find because it would basically be a contract between the US and the land holder
that sucks bigtime
we have similar bull**** for house regulations like external colors and appearance of old houses on specific streets...all of it made up by people who get paid by the likes of me to make my life miserable and have so little real work to do that they just have to make things up for entertainment...

look up how many inchs of gravel they call a driveway make you a square of it and park the car on it or licenses it if you can with out them inspecting it here they gave me hell over having my boat on its trailer parked in my driveway. or look up all the car clubs close by and have them back you in fighting that bs law
I have had some dealings with people like this. A word of advice if you are planning to fight this.
GET A LAWYER!!! It is worth the few hundred bucks that it will cost you.
I work for Volusia County Government and the people who bring lawyers to present their case to the various boards win WAY more often than those representing themselves.
The last thing those chiteaters on the code enforcement board want to see is a lawyer and a citizen willing to pursue litigation. They will fold up like a pocket knife I'd be willing to bet.
How does that old saw go? He who represents himself has a fool for a client...

Hey rmodel65,
Hate to say this but if you live in a historic district then it will be tough fighting this. Get some ready made fence from Lowes and put a fence around it??? Oh by the way, I don't live far from you at all....Ludowici, GA.
