Just for the record 66GTKFB the 2nd Ammendment is the right to bear arms. So if that Code Enforcement person was trying to take his gun, then goll durn, he'd have a case!

Is the vehicle tagged? In these parts you have to have a license plate on the car. Of course unless a neighbor turns you in , thelaw never gets pushed. My thought is , if its tagged with a current plate and the registration is paid up, then its not an eye sore. My 80 year old neighbor never moves her 2002 Buick, but nobody ever complains.

I just can not get my head around why anybody would willingly agree to a Home Owners Association.

I understand the whole property values thing, etc. etc. etc. blah blah blah, but damn, you have to live there. Somebody is going to tell me that they don't like my ______ (fill in the blank) and that I have to conform to their desires and wishes??? WTF???? If you people can live life like that then more power to you.

I don't play well enough with others to live in a neighborhood like that. I am afraid that I would wind up in prison after doing something stupid to one of the "enforcers".

Where I live, I AM the homeowners association. The only people I have to please are myself, and she who must be obeyed.

Thank you. I am off of my soap box now.

Also if a neighbor or someone on your block is selling their house and they don't like what they see at your house then that might be where the complaint came from. Again out of sight, out ofmind.

Home owners associations were started here to keep people from allowing thier houses to looking like junk yards/white trash dwellings..

Personally Im for em. I keep my house and yard picked up and dont leavestuff scattered. It makes my house and the neighborhood look like crap when others are too lazy to maintain their property. If you took the spray bottle off the fence, moved the motorcycle to the back, picked up the trash in the yard and took the fish tank off the porch maybe they wouldnt bitch about the mustang in the back.
The house looks like its decent but the yard looks like Fred Sanford lives there.
