I had my original...hazy...pitted...wiper scratched...untinted windshield replaced today with a new tinted carlite unit.
WOW - I couldn't believe the difference it made. I can actually see!! The glass was $100, and with the new seal, install and tax, it was just shy of $200.....
If you've still got your original glass and it's rough to your fingernail.. I HIGHLY recommend getting a new one.

I had to get mine replaced, it was the original one so i was pissed[:@] but it had wiper blade GASHES not scratches and it was so bad u couldnt see, it was a hazard. got a new one, but its tinted in the top 3" i dont like that, but meh the sun is pretty bright here i guess its okay. definately a needed upgrade though.
