Congrats on the new vert. The best thing you can do is give it a good home. That will make his sacrifice worth it.

I bought my 67 vert from an older guy,he completed the restore in 04. He and his wife would drive it to car shows hewon two first place trohies and one second.He lost his wife this year and did not want to drive the car anymore. I have talked to him a couple times since I bought it. I think it makes him feel better knowing it has a good home.

 

thats putting it mildly.... the night before i picked it up, I couldn't sleep a wink....
